I m moving into a new house on friday and i want the router located in the second bedroom man cave rather than the living room where it will presumably be installed chances are i ll go with bt infinity and i want the router located near my computer for convenience and to easily have everything wired up. Now since my tv ps3 dvd player etc is all in the living room i decided to move the entire setup there so i can connect most of the devices to the router via ethernet cables.

Move centurylink dsl modem to another room. The only one that would be viable to move. I have a centurylink modem hooked up downstairs and want to move it to my room upstairs but when i plug it in it wont connect to the dsl. You can move it just fine.
