As for the areas left without laminate we recommend uninstalling your flooring to a place where you can add in the necessary planks as if you were installing for the first time and install around the kitchen cabinets.

I have been told that the only time you install cabinets over flooring is if you are intalling ceramic tile as flooiring.
The ragged edge of the flooring is then covered over with quarter round or base molding.

We often get asked if vinyl flooring can be installed under cabinets.
Well the answer isn t cut and dry.
4 years ago if the cabinets will outlive the flooring which is usually the case with vinyl plank then put the cabinets in first.
The cabinets however have a box base and should not be installed over the plank flooring.
This goes for any type of flooring although not always for the same reasons.
I ll leave the temp ranges to someone else.
No floor under cabinets.
One trick i use is to install nylon chair glides on the underside of the base cabinets.
It s harder to install i know by cutting around the cabinets but you want to do it right.
